Singapore police have charged a person with assaulting a 19-year-old throughout a gathering to facilitate face-to-face cryptocurrency exchanges.
In response to The Straits Instancespolice arrested three males in reference to the tried theft of a 19-year-old cryptocurrency dealer.
The younger man, recognized as “ZK”, was attempting to purchase USDT from a vendor he had contacted on Telegram when two males ambushed him and punched him whereas he was ready to satisfy the alleged vendor.
Crypto dealer tried to alternate $24k for USDT
In response to official police accounts, the assault on {the teenager} occurred when a dealer tried to alternate 32,000 Singapore {dollars} ($24,000) for the stablecoin USDT. ZK agreed to an offline peer-to-peer alternate and organized to satisfy Benedict Yee Hong Fai, 29.
Yee allegedly contacted ZK through telegram and provided to switch USDT in alternate for $24,000 in money.
