Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the billionaire founding father of Binance, has begun a four-month jail sentence at a low-security federal facility in Lompoc, California. Latham & Watkins, Zhao's protection workforce, confirmed that the previous cryptocurrency boss is now in custody.
In April, Zhao was sentenced after pleading responsible to costs associated to enabling cash laundering by his Binance cryptocurrency trade.
