Particulars claimed on Monday that Nadeem Anjarwalla, a 38-year-old British nationwide who was in custody in Nigeria, escaped through a Center Jap airline. He allegedly used a faux passport to board the aircraft on Friday, March 22.

Sources acquainted with the event say Anjarwalla fled after being taken to a mosque for prayers.

Nadeem Anjarwalla, Binance’s regional supervisor for Africa, and his colleague Tigran Gambaryan, Binance’s head of legal investigations, have been arrested on February 26. Gambaryan is a US citizen.

The detention of the 2 bosses follows a crackdown on crypto trade Binance by the Nigerian authorities amid allegations of foreign money manipulation because the Naira plummeted.

The 2 officers have since been detained and the federal government is demanding the trade of their person information from the nation. An Abuja courtroom ordered that Anjarwalla and Gambaryan be held for an additional 14 days after Binance refused to adjust to the request.
